Our team consists of former consultants from some of these firms, and we remain passionate about bringing data-driven, actionable recommendations to our clients. We specialize in primary and secondary market research-based strategy consulting, and ensure our insights come from a multitude of data sources: industry expert interviews, surveys, traditional third party research, and alternative data sources.
T4 began its life as a company automating the knowledge management and librarian functions of professional services firms and enterprises. We collected the entire world of market research across 1,000 tech sector industries, the largest tech taxonomy in the world, and launched a Beta of that software at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield in 2019. You can see our presentation here. In 2020, we launched a strategy advisory arm of T4, which is now our principle line of business.

Maks founded T4 in 2018. Maks has led over 50 strategy engagements, primarily in the industrials and technology sectors. Prior to T4, Maks was a Consultant at Bain & Company and a Marine Corps Intelligence Officer. Maks receive his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Bachelor’s in Business Administration and French & Francophone Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. When Maks isn't running, swimming, skiing, and scuba diving, he enjoys cheering on Chelsea Football Club.
Stewart joined T4 in 2021. Stewart has led numerous engagements at T4, including a market entry strategy for a PE-backed travel tech company, a data exchange pricing strategy for a leading public institution, and retail sales forecasting strategy for a leading Canadian retailer. Prior to T4, Stewart was a Manager at Resultant where he led numerous studies focused on competitive evaluation and benchmarking. Stewart holds a Master’s from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s from DePauw University. Stewart enjoys water skiing, golf, teaching his dog new tricks, volunteering in his community, and spending time with his wife and 1-year-old daughter.
Alan joined T4 in 2019. Alan supports T4’s advanced technology engagements, among other projects. Alan’s engagements at T4 include a market opportunity analysis for a leading photonic computing company, a benchmarking study for a leading lithium battery technology company and an M&A screener for a midsize industrial company. Prior to T4 Alan served as Head of Market Research at Inside Quantum Technology and was a Researcher at the Russian Quantum Center. Alan holds a Master’s in Quantum Physics from Moscow State University. In his free time Alan enjoys hiking, mastering dungeons in D&D, and watching old movies with friends.
Will joined T4 as an intern in 2020 before starting full-time in 2021. Will’s engagements at T4 include a variety of due diligence and go to market strategy work, in industries including industrial gas generation, lithium battery technology, marina management, and restaurant technology. Will received a Master’s in Management of International Business from Grenoble École de Management and a Bachelor’s in Finance and International Business Management from Roger Williams University. In his free time, Will enjoys woodworking, hiking, and relaxing on the beach with his fiancée and dog.
Joe joined T4 at the start of 2022. Joe’s engagements at T4 include a quick service restaurant technology due diligence and a market entry strategy for a tier 1 automotive supplier. Joe has additional due diligence experience in the commercial & residential construction and materials industries. Prior to joining T4, Joe was a Strategy Analyst at the Red Chalk Group and a Product Leader at Giblib, an edtech company. Joe received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Film, Television & Media from the University of Michigan. Joe is an avid music fan with hundreds of tickets stubs and counting.
Jess joined T4 as an intern in 2021 and full-time in 2022. Jess’ engagements at T4 include a market entry strategy for a PE-backed travel tech company, a lithium battery value chain analysis, and a surgical lighting market entry strategy. Prior to T4, Jess was a Research Assistant at the Justice Tech Lab developing advanced statistics-based recommendations to influence public policy and a tax intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jess holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Business Management from Grenoble École de Management. In her free time, Jess is a swing dance and Lindy Hop instructor, and enjoys dancing, hiking, travelling and recently, sewing.
